2. Factors Include

   • Temperature
     • Water
       • Blood Glucose (Sugars)
     • osmoregluation
       • ectasy wipes this from the brain

3. Every cell needs water

   • Every cell needs glucose for energy

4. Warmth

   • When its hot, we sweat
     • Glands try to pump out the heat by sweat
       • Evaperation carries heat away

5. Coldness

   • When its cold, the erect gland contracts causing:
     • hairs to stand
     • goosebumps to form

6. Capillaries

   • Vasodilation
     • blood vessles get wider when hot
       • Evaperation from skin
   • Vasoconstriction
     • blood vesseles get thinner when cold
       • heat rises causing a thin layer of warm air above the skin

7. Hypeothaiamus

   • negative feedback acts to appose a change
     • normal - tempature increase or decrease detected - correct action - normal again
