CBMP Action Plan

1. When to make changes

   • Make changes to your plan when necessary
     • Revise or update your plan when needed. Make sure you discuss the changes with parents and administration.

2. What to teach

   • Rules
     • 1. Be encouraging to others 2. Clean up after yourself 3. Be prepared to learn 4. Always do your best!
   • Procedures
     • Line up rules and morning procedure.
   • Negative consequences
     • Consequence thermometer
   • Positive consequences

3. How to teach it

   • Model for students
     • Model for your students so they know your expectations for them.
   • Have students practice
     • Have your students practice following the rules and procedures frequently, especially at the beginning of the year.

4. Who to share it with

   • Parents/families
     • Discuss your plan with the families of your students so they know what is to be expected or happen in your classroom.
   • Administration
     • Share your plan with administration and co-workers so they are aware of the plan and can assist if/when needed.

5. When to teach it

   • Holidays/long breaks
   • Once a month
   • Whenever you feel it is necessary
