Initial Magazine Name Ideas

1. 'INDI'

   • This is a play on the word 'Indie', simply taking out the 'e' on the end.
     • This name is simple yet effective, clearly signifies genre of my magazine
     • Catchy, short and snappy, would look good in a bold typography

2. 'DIVERGRE'

   • Connotes divergence, and how the indie genre is an alternative genre dfferent to others
     • Audience feel as if the genre they listen to is being understood well, more likely to buy magazine
   • Play on the word 'divergence', will stick in audience's mind as it is unique and creative

3. 'VOODOO'

   • Grabs readers attention as it rhymes and has a nice ring to it
     • Memorable
   • A 'voodoo doll' is associated to be creepy, gives magazine an edgy, intriguing vibe

4. 'DISORDER'

   • From my research and handing out questionnaires, this was a name my audience liked
   • Catchy, however does not portray Indie genre as well as I think the masthead should
   • Not very unique/memorable
