A Partially permeable membrane is a membrane that that allows tiny molecules to pass through it but not larger molecules

This is possible because the membrane has many tiny holes on its surface that only certain molecules fit through.

These molecules only pass through due to 'Diffusion', or in the case of cell membranes, sometimes 'Active Transport' and 'Osmosis'
