Motion graph exam questions
Slides in this set (4)
-
- 1. Draw a displacement time graph, a velocity time graph and a acceleration time graph for a bouncy ball being dropped from 1m. Assume there are only vertical forces acting (draw the graph for only 3 bounces).

- A firework is facing vertically. The fuse is 3 seconds from when lit, and then it accelerates for 5 seconds at 6ms-2. After the 5 seconds, only weight acts upon it (take the weight as 10ms-2). Assuming there is only vertical motion (no friction):
- 1. Draw an a-t graph of the motion
- 2. Draw a v-t graph from launch to landing
- 3. Work out the maximum displacement
- 4. Work out the time it took from launch to landing
- 5. Work out the maximum speed
