- Acceleration - A change in velocity over a certain amount of time.
- Acceleration (m/s squared) = Change in Velocity (m/s) / Time (s)
- a = Triangle v / t
- You may need to use the typical speeds when asked to estimate the acceleration.
- Constant acceleration = Uniform acceleration.
- Acceleration due to gravity is uniform for objects in free fall. It has the same value as gfs (9.8m/s squared).
- Final velocity (m/s) - Initial velocity (m/s) = 2 X Acceleration (m/s squared) X Distance (m)
- V squared - U squared = 2as
