Supply Chain Management

• It is the set of different sections or departments from the same organization for the production and distribution as well as the purchase and sale of different types of raw materials or the logistics processes for the transportation and production of a product.This is in charge of connecting the company with suppliers and with the client for its distribution and purchases. To obtain an effective result in the logistics of supply chain management is important that all sections of the same company are synchronized to give the most effective result possible and thus be able to obtain a good logistics result. It is a higher level recognition of the strategic value of managing operational activities and flows within and across a supply chain.
• In my own words, the following points must be organized to provide a good management strategy; ○The supplier base to determine which suppliers are strategically important and, therefore, which 'orchestra intervention' will deliver business value. ○Responding, fixing and preventing vendor related issues and investments in vendor capacity development. ○Ensure compliance, manage risk, and review the performance of your major suppliers on an ongoing basis. ○Boost advantage and manage risk in the supply chain, including tools to help organizations achieve sustainability and CSR goals.
• Supply chain management includes the coordination and integration of individual work steps within and between companies. The goal of an effective SCM system is to reduce inventory.
