    Color meaning can play a big role in your design choices, if you want to show improvement or gains you wouldn’t normally go with the color red and if you want to show loss or danger you wouldn’t use green.

    When designing in other parts of the world consider different cultural meanings for color.  One example of is White in the U.S. is considered to means purity so it is used for weddings but in other countries white represents death so they use it in funerals. 
    Here is a link to a color wheel that shows how different cultures view color: Colours in Cultures Color can also affect mood and should be considered when designing for different businesses or organizations.
