    Elements are substances that are made up of only one type of atom. For example; copper. Copper is made up of only copper atoms.

    Periodic Table Of Elements
    The periodic table of elements is a table that contains all the different elements known in an organized manner. There are 118 elements in the periodic table. 98 of these are natural and the 20 are man-made.

    Chemical symbols
    In the periodic table, the full name of elements is not written down. Instead, chemical symbols are used. Each element in the periodic table as a chemical symbol. The chemical symbol is usually the first two letters of the element's full name. For example; the chemical symbol for gallium is Ga. However, it is not always like. For example; the chemical symbol for iron is Fe. Chemical symbols are used by all scientists throughout the world.
