3. TENCEL & LYOCELL

   • PROPERTIES
     • -Soft -Absorbent -Very strong when wet/dry -Resistant to wrinkles -Machine washed -Dry cleaned -Dyed in many colours
   • QUALITIES/AESTHETICS
     • -Drapes well -Can stimulate a variety of textures like suede, leather or silk

4. RAYON

   • PROPERTIES
     • -Dyes easily -Poor insulator (ideal for hot weather) -Not very durable -Lowest elasticity retention of any fibre -Very high apperance -Dry clean only
   • QUALITIES/AESTHETICS
     • -Versatile fibre (Can imitate; silk, wool, cotton, linen) -Soft, smooth, cool, comfortable

5. DEFINITION: These are fibres that are made from cellulose (a natural polymer), but the fibre has been chemically altered by man. Therefore the original fibres are reborn or regenerated, but are not completly man-made.
