AUTOMATION

AUTOMATION

1. Use of machines to complete tasks that are normally completed by humans

   • MECHANISATION
     • Replace of human workers with machines that make same tasks

2. Integration of machines to build up something without the use of skilled workers and their manufacture

3. AUTOMATION vs. MECHANISATION

   • Mechanisation has the property to autoregulate machines through the feedback
     • Feedback: a macines takes in input its own output and compares it with standards input and adjust it through three steps: measurement, evaluation, control.
       • MEASUREMENT
       • EVALUATION
       • CONTROL
