3. Questionares should be as short as possible to stop respondent getting bored

4. Must be straight forward

5. Wording of questions must be very particular to make them easy to understand

6. Attitudinal- answering based on a scale

7. Usually self-completion

8. Questions are prepared in advance

9. Use open and closed questions
