1. Enzymes

   • acts as a biological Catalyst which speeds up reaction without changing
     • Enzymes are large protein molecules
     • Lower the actervation energy - speed up reaction
     • PH 3 - Pepsin
       • Wrong PH = Dentured
     • PH8 - amylase

2. Actervation site

   • Actervation engergy = minimum temp
     • Lower temp = slower reaction
       • Catabolic reaction - Breacks things up
       • Anabolic reaction - builds things up
   • Actervation site is where the reactant binds together with the reactant

3. Bile

   • Produced in the liver
     • stored in the gall bladder
       • added to the small intestine
         • Small intestine absorbs water
           • Large surface area
           • Good blood surpply
           • one cell thick
   • Emulsifies fats
     • Breaks down large fats droplets into small ones
       • Creating a larger surface area for LIPASE to act apon
   • Neutrailsed stomach acid, creating an alkine
     • Creating the best conditions for enzymes to work bes at
