To delete named ranges Excel 2007/2010:

On the Formulas Ribbon, click Name Manager in the Defined Names group. The Name Manager dialog box appears (pictured at the bottom of this post).

Click an existing range name and then click the Delete button. A confirmation message appears, making sure you want to delete the range name.

Click OK to confirmation that the range will be deleted. Cancel cancels the deletion.

F4 allows you to scroll through formulae and switch between Absolute, Relative and Mixed References just click the mouse on the part of the formulae you wish to change.

fx on the formula bar brings up the Insert Function box as does the sum sigma Icon under the heading more functions.
