- APatient H.M was having terrible seizures and after one, he died.
- BPatient H.M was having seizures and after his seizures, he forgot everything that happened from the past 24 hours.
- CPatient H.M was having seizures, so he had to have his hippocampus removed and he was aware that his memory was not good so he just had to live in the moment.
- DPatient H.M was having seizures, so he had to have his hippocampus removed and he was not aware that his memory was not good so he kept forgetting everything
13What were the results from Korsakoff's mirror reading?
- AFor the new words, normal and amnesiacs improved about the same (implicit only) and for the old words, normals were better than amnesiacs (implicit and explicit)
- BFor the old words, normal and amnesiacs improved about the same (implicit only) and for the new words, normals were better than amnesiacs (implicit and explicit)
- CFor the new words, normal and amnesiacs stayed about the same (implicit only) and for the old words, normals were worse than amnesiacs (implicit and explicit)
- DFor the old words, normal and amnesiacs stayed about the same (implicit only) and for the new words, normals were better than amnesiacs (implicit and explicit)
14What was the mirror reading experiment?
- Aamnesiacs and healthy controls read mirror revered words used related words and new rods
- Bamnesiacs and healthy controls read words in the mirror used related words and new rods
- Camnesiacs and healthy controls read and sounded out words backwards and used related words and new rods
15What did the tower of Hanoi measure and what were the results?
- AMore cognitive and Implicit memory. The results were that amnesiacs were able to learn this task without explicit memory and that both amnesiac and healthy controls complete the task of very similarity suggesting cognitive implicit learning memory spread.
- BMore cognitive and Implicit memory. The results were that amnesiacs were able to learn this task with explicit memory and that both amnesiac and healthy controls complete the task of very similarity suggesting cognitive implicit learning memory spread.
- CNone of the above.
16Word Fragment Completion Results.
- Aamnesiacs show poor priming and poor recognition memory , if you explicit ask them, they do not recognize the words
- Bamnesiacs show poor priming, but great recognition memory if you explicit ask them, they recognize the words
- Camnesiacs show normal priming, but poor recognition memory if you explicit ask them, they do not recognize the words
