Processing Unit - 4What is the Number of Cores?The higher the Number of Cores the Central Processing Unit has, the more Instructions it can carry out at once.
Higher Number of Cores = Faster Processor - 5What is Cache Size?The Higher the Cache Size will give the Central Processing Unit faster access to more Data.
- 6What is the FETCH - DECODE - EXECUTE Cycle?Central Processing Unit FETCHES instruction from RAM.
Control Unit DECODES the Instruction from the Memory Data Register.
Instruction is EXECUTED by the Control Unit. - 7What is the Control Unit?The Control Unit Executes Instructions and Controls the Flow of Data in the Central Processing Unit.
- 8What is the Program Counter?The Program Counter holds the Memory Address for the Instruction of each Cycle.
- 9What is the Arithmetic Logic Unit?The Arithmetic Logic Unit does all of the Calculations and Logic Operations.
- 10What is the Accumulator?The Accumulator holds the result of any Calculations in the Arithmetic Logic Unit.
- 11What is Cache?Cache is Very Fast Memory that Stores Regularly used Data so that the Central Processing Unit can Access it Quickly.
- 12What is the Memory Address Register?The Memory Address Register holds the Address about to be used by the Central Processing Unit.
- 13What is the Memory Data Register?The Memory Address Register holds the actual Data or Instructions being Processed by the Central Processing Unit.
