- 1Star TopologyAll nodes are linked to one central point that communicates between each of the different nodes on the topology to share data. The system can fail and shut down if the central point crashes.
- 2Mesh TopologyAll nodes on a mesh topology are linked to one another and have no central point. As there is no central point it is a lot easier to share files between each other. Also if one of the nodes fail it won't mean that the system will crash.
