- 4What is an operating software? Give examplesAn operating system is software that manages computer hardware and software resources and provides common services for computer programs.
- 5What is a desktop?Desktop- A desktop is designed for a desk. A desktop has a mouse and a keyboard attached.
- 6Advantages of a desktop?Advantages- It has a lot of memory space in it.It is easier to fix if broken unlike other sources. Doesn't need to be recharged. It's cheaper than laptops.
- 7Disadvantages of desktop?Disadvantages- They are not portable. They are very heavy. It uses alot more power.
- 8What is a laptop?Laptop- A Laptop is a computer that is portable and it its powered by a battery. A laptop has a touchpad and a keyboard built into it. There is also the option of using a mouse.
- 9Advantages of a laptop?Advantages-It is portable to use and it is lightweight so it means you can take it where ever you want it. Its also small.
- 10Disadvantages of a laptop?Disadvantages- Its is easily lost or stolen. It can overheat itself. It is quite expensive to use.
- 11What is a tablet?Tablet- A tablet is a mobile computer with a touchscreen screen included into it as well as a battery.
- 12Advantages of a tablet?Advantages- It is small and very lightweight. It can be used as a GPS to take you places. It has a long life battery time.
- 13Disadvantages of a tablet?Disadvantages- It is really easy to damage or break. It is quite expensive to buy. The screen is quite small which might not be good for people with limited eye sight.
- 14What is a smartphone?Smartphone- A smartphone is a mobile phone which has extra added features such as you can downloads many apps or download music.
- 15Advantages of a smartphone?Advantages- You can stay connected at all times. It can help you get organized. It has siri installed in it which helps you.
- 16Disadvantages of a smartphone?Disadvantages- It can be quite expensive. It can be easily lost or stolen. It can be damaged easily.
