- 13Why was there little support for the Kapp Putsch?Trade unionists and civil servants supported the government as they were more left wing.
- 14What is a trade unionist?A person involved with organisations set up to protect and improve the rights of workers.
- 15What happened when the trade unionists went on strike?Essential services like water, gas, electricity and transport stopped and Berlin ground to a halt.
- 16What did Kapp do with no essential services?He fled after realising that he couldn't govern. He was caught and eventually died in prison.
- 17How was this method of putting down the Kapp Putsch different to the Spartacist Uprsing?This was non-violent.
