1g = 1000mg - 3Example: A packet of biscuits weighs 150g. Find the weight of 12 packets of biscuits: 1. in g 2. in kg1. 12 x 150 = 1800, so 12 packets of biscuits weighs 1800g
2. The answer is 1.8kg
Remember that 1kg = 1000g
To convert from g to kg, we divide by 1000
