  1. The Bill of Rights

  2. The bill of rights was created by James Madison in 1791. They were 10

amendments that clarifyed rules of the new americas

  3. The bill of rights were written to protect basic freedom

  4. Congress felt as though they were not needed but later realized they were very much needed

  5. They are the first 10 Amendments in the Constitution.

  6. The Bill of Rights had great reaction at first because everyone thought they were going to be getting the rights to do several things but that changed quickly when they read the unfair laws given.

  7. the Declaration of Sentiments

  8. The document was written by by Elizabeth Cady in 1848.

  9. document, outlining the rights that American women should be entitled to as citizens

  10. The reaction to this document is probably shocked because nobody would believe the women would up and state something that involved politics. I also think that men were upset because they wanted women to stay away from politics and stay in the house because they were so called not "smart enough."

  11. Both documents are made to state the rights given ti the citizens that live in America.

  12. Life as a women in that time was probably so boring and hard. I would say it was boring because they weren't able to just do any and everything which bothers me because how is this a free country but yet women had to actually fight for their rights.

  13. The women had to continue fighting for their rights by just doing what they are told they are not capable of and show the men that a women can do a man's job better than he can.

  14. The most controversial document would be the Declaration of sentiments because the men were bound to put up a fight for the women to have a say so in anything.

  17. The documents shows that equality did not really exist and if you were not a rich man the rules do not apply to you and that is not right because they should be for everyone no matter the race, gender, or financial issues.

  18. The Declaration of independence

  19. In the 1700s the british did not like the restrictions they had from the king. They wrote him twice complaining and

never got a response from the king. They then decided to come up with a way to rebel against the king. They decided

    to declare their independence.

  20. The authors believe that we as americans have the freedom to do and believe as we please but with some

guidelines for safety. They also believe that everyone is equal.

  21. The Grievances that were giving was they weren’t given laws that would help the colonist with positive outcomes. The

colonist rights were invaded as citizens. The last one was that he put the congress in bad situations to were they could

not meet the certain standard. The colonist blamed the king for their grievances.

  22. The justification is used for declaring independence is that the colonist were breaking the ties they had from England. The

main reason they moved to north america was to gain freedom but the laws and taxes followed them they grew tired of that

and declared their independence. They also grew tired of the king not responding to there needs.

  23. The author statement could be taken in many ways. He could be using a scientific standpoint saying we are all

brought into the world the same so therefore nobody is special and nobody is over others. He could also be

saying this in a religious way stating that in God’s eyes we are all his children and all equal.

  24. The two documents show similarities because they are both stating their independence.

  25. The were both written because they are tired of not getting the treatment they believe they deserve and felt they would not get them until they spoke up and stated their issues.
