1. the computer will not boot or it locks up

   • the CPU has overheated
     • reinstall the CPU
   • CPU fan has filed
     • Replace the CPU fan

2. the CPU fan is making an unusual noise

   • the CPU fan is failing
     • Replace the CPU fan

3. the computer reboots without warning locks up. or displays error messages

   • the front-side bus is set too high
     • reset to factory setings for the motherboard
   • the CPU multimeter is set too high
     • lower the front side bus setings
