1. computer does not turn on

   • the computer is not plugged into the AC outlet
     • when you plug it in ensure that it is in a good AC outlet
   • the AC outlet is not working correctly
     • Use a known goo power cord
   • the power supply switch is set on the incorrect voltage
     • Beforwe yu pug it in make sure 5that is is set on the correct voltage
   • the power supply has failed
     • need tobuy a new power cable as this oe does not work

2. the computer boots and the PC turns off unexpectdly

   • the power supply is starting to fail
     • replace the power supply as it has burnt out
