SMART
'S' stands for specific this means, when setting a goal it should be specific, well defined and clear to anyone that has a basic knowledge
'M' stands for Measurable, this means when your target is measurable it should be able to set against something, to know if your goal is obtainable and how far away completion is and find out how when you have achieved your goal.
'A' stands for Achievable, this means you should be able to complete the task at hand, agreement with all the people concerned what the goals should be what links back to previous two items.
'R' stands for realistic, this means can you actually do it? Do you have enough time, money and knowledge? and finally do you need other people to help you?
'T' stands for Time bound, this means can you complete it in the given time, Enough time to achieve the goal, not too much time, which can affect project performance
