2. Visuo Spatial Sketchpad

   • Used when planning a spatial task
     • Temporary store
   • Evidence from brain-damaged patients suggests there are separate visual and spatial systems. Patient 'SC' had good learning abilities but unable to learn word pairs that were presented out loud. Suggesting damage to the phonological loop.

3. Phonological Loop

   • Limited Capacity
     • Auditory information
     • 'Cant listen to two things at once'

4. Directs attention to tasks and then allocates them to slave systems

5. Very limited capacity, cannot attend to many things at once

6. There is concern that this is too vague, doesn't actually explain anything. There is also probably several components to this.
