WHAT IS THE ROBOTIC
- Robotics is an interdisciplinary branch of engineering and science that includes mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, information engineering, computer science, and others. Robotics deals with the design, construction, operation, and use of robots, as well as computer systems for their control, sensory feedback, and information processing.
Where does the word robot come from? What is a robot?
- The term comes from a Czech word, robota, meaning "forced labor"; the word 'robot' was first used to denote a fictional humanoid in a 1920 play R.U.R. (Rossumovi Univerzální Roboti - Rossum's Universal Robots) by the Czech writer, Karel Čapek but it was Karel's brother Josef Čapek who was the word's true inventor.

the impact of robotics
- While it is true that some human jobs are being replaced by robots, many are becoming more efficient and accurate with the assistance of robots. Robots can increase output and productivity, keep labor costs down and improve reliability in manufacturing by removing human error.
How are robots classified?
- For the generation First generation. Second generation. Third generation. Fourth generation. ... Intelligence level Manual operation. Sequence fixed. Variable Sequence Regenerators ... Programming language. Guided Level Programming -robot. Task level programming.
The architecture of a robot
- Sensors: measure physical quantities (speed, temperature, humidity) and transform them into electrical quantities. Inside the robot there are two types of sensors: those that deal with the internal state of the machine and those that deal with the environment. They are equivalent to the senses. Actuators: receive orders from the controller and make movements. The most common are motors, relays or hydraulic or pneumatic actuators. They are equivalent to the muscles. Structure: it is the one that makes up the appearance of the robot, and the one that allows you to perform your tasks and withstand the efforts you suffer. In our simile, it is equivalent to the body itself. Power: provides the energy for the operation of the entire system. They are usually batteries or photovoltaic panels, to guarantee autonomy. Control unit: directs the work of the actuators. The input is the information obtained from the sensors. The output consists of the electrical orders sent to the actuators (stop / s
