UNIT 2.

1. Raw materials.

   • Are products extracted directly from nature. They may be of plant, animal or mineralorigin. Air and water are also considered raw materials and are essential for crops and life in general.

2. Natural and precessed materials.

   • Industrial precesses are applied to raw materials, also known as natural resources, to turn them into precessed materials.
     • These processed materials are then used to make other, more complex objects. For example, the wood from trees is made into planks.
   • Once the materials have been precessed, they mey be classified as either artificial or synthetic.
