"goint to" is used for plans
- this is longer: the verb to be + going to + a verb in the infinitive is used. "I'm going to buy the tickets later."
- To express future and planned actions. He's going to start a new job next month. (va a empezar un nuevo trabajo el mes que viene.)
- To express certainty or intention regarding the near future. It's going to be a difficult cult meeting. (va a ser una reunión dificil.)
