   • advantages
     • high read/write speed
     • energy efficent
     • durable
   • solid state is reliable because it has a fast read/write speed and it is durable because it has no moving parts and is incased in a plastic case

2. magnetic

   • advantages
     • high capacity
     • cost effective
   • disadvantages
     • less durable than solid state
   • examples
     • PC's
     • laptops
     • desktop computers
   • Magnetic is not reliable because it is less durable than solid state and it is not durable because it is easy to break.

3. optical

   • advantages
     • portable
     • can be used in a variety of devices
     • cheap
   • examples
     • Blue ray
     • CDs
     • DVDs
   • disadvantages
     • low capacity
     • can be easily scratched
   • optical is not reliable because it does not have a high read/write speed and it is not durable because it can get scratched easily. An advantage is that it is portable meaning you can take it anywhere.
