TREE
- Translator
- This is when the IDE changes the code from ASCII to binary so that the computer system can understand it. The computer system translates it as the code is running which is why syntax errors come up as the code is outputted instead of at the end of the code. This method of translation is called interpreter
- Run Time Environment
- This is where the code is outputted. The computer system translates it as it ouputs the code and is constantly checking to make sure it makes sense.
- Editor
- This is where you write the code. It can help you by making command codes different colours and helps you when your writing your code to make it easier. Sometimes auto-correct is used to make sure you've spelt certain command words correctly
- Error Diagnostics
- This is where the program checks for syntax errors and helps you knowing where they are by telling you the on which the error was found
