1. Verbal-Linguistic

   • -People who analyze words,enjoy writing, foreign languages.
     • People that master this intelligence
       • Writer, Teacher, Lawyer
       • Classroom activities
         • Organize class debates Allow for formal speaking opportunities Use humor, such as joke writing or telling Make sure there are plenty of reading opportunities

2. Logical-Mathematical

   • People who are skillful to develop equation and proofs, make calculation, solve abstract problems
     • People that master this intelligence
       • Scientist Mathematician Computer programmer Engineer Accountant
     • Classroom activities
       • Provide opportunities for problem solving Involve calculations Create activities that involve deciphering a code Use pattern or logic games Organize new information in an outline format

3. Visual-Spatial

   • People who understand maps, graphical information
     • People that master this intelligence
       • Architect Artist Engineer
     • Classroom activities
       • Use mind mapping techniques Use guided visualizations or verbal imagery Provide opportunities for artistic expression using a variety of mediums (paint, clay, etc.) Allow for make-believe or fantasy Create collages for visual representations

4. Bodly-Kinesthetic

   • People use their body to create products or solve problems, they have excellent coordination
     • People that master this intelligence

     • Classroom activities
       • Use body sculpture Use of role playing, miming, or charade games Allow for physical exercise, dance, or martial arts Create opportunities for dramatic arts such as skits Use human graphs

5. Musical

   • People who enjoy singing and playing musical instruments

       • Use instruments and instrument sounds Use environmental sounds to illustrate a concept Allow for musical composition and performance. Allow students to create songs about a topic

6. Interpersonal

   • Good verbally communication skilled at nonverbal communication create positive relationhips with other

       • Teach collaborative skills Provide plenty of group work opportunities Use person-person communication Use empathy

7. Intrapersonal

8. Naturalistic

   • Categorize and catalog information easily Enjoy camping, gardening, hiking, and exploring the outdoors

     • Classroom activities
       • Practice conservation Have a classroom plant or animals to care of Observe nature, go on nature walks Use species classification Provide hands-on labs of natural materials

9. Why is it important to know the multiple intelligences?

   • It is important because we as teachers are aware of the intellectual potential of our students and in that way, we can vary or adapt activities in the classroom in order to have a better knowledge acquisition and of course to help them to develop their intelligences too.
