PARALLEL LINES :-

1. If two lines in a plane do not intersect each other,they are called Parallel Lines

   • Example : OPPOSITE SIDE OF BLACKBOARD , SIDE OF RAILWAY TRACKS , OPPOSITE EDGES OF OUR TEXT BOOKS
     • ALTERNATE EXTERIOR ANGLE : Alternate Exterior Angles are the pair of angles that lie on the outer side of the two parallel lines but on either side of the transversal lines
     • ALTERNATE INTERIOR ANGLE : A pair of angles with different vertices and on opposite sides of a transversal at its intersection which two other lines the pair of angles inside the two intersected lines are also called Alternate Interior Angle.
     • CORRESPONDING ANGLE : Any pair of angles each of which is on the same side of one of two other lines , the same side of one of two lines cut by a transversal and on the same side of the transversal
     • CO INTERIOR ANGLE : Co interior angles are the pair of non - adjacent interior angle that lie on the same side of the transversal are called pair of co interior angles. If two lines are parallel then two interior angles add to give 180 degree and so supplementary
     • CO EXTERIOR ANGLE : The exterior angles meaning they are outside of the two parallel lines opposite to interior angles which are two parallel lines.
