Linear Data Structures
Lists
- Use [] to denote lists
- Basically just an ordered collection of elements that can be freely added or removed from
Tuples
- Use ( ) to denote tuples
- Similar to an ordered pair in math. Unchangeable once created but you can create subtuples.
Sets
- Use { } to denote sets
- Very similar to sets in math. No duplicates allowed, unordered. Can also add new elements or merge sets
Dictionaries
- Use { Key:Value} to denote dictonaries
- Essentially a map from C++ but with more flexibility with data types. You access the values by using the key. You can't have multiple of the same key.
Any data type allowed!
