IDEA DEVELOPMENT

  1. TEAM 3

    • CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
      • It is a process driven by a set of customer needs and target product specifications that are transformed into a set of conceptual designs. These solutions represent a rough description of the form, operating principles and characteristics of the product.
        • BENEFITS
          • Advantages of improving the concept development process include:
            • -Effectively integrate fragmented solutions that are workable -Evaluate previously rejected solution concepts -Include all business stakeholders in the consideration and exploration of widely varying solution ideas -Enabling methodical investigation of all possible sources of solution ideas
    • PROTOTYPES AND MODELS
      • A development model establishes the order in which things will be done in the project, it provides input and output requirements for each of the activities. It is necessary to highlight the life cycle of the project and the development model. The project life cycle helps control project activities from start to finish. The development model helps us with the way in which we are going to build the product.
        • A prototype is a preliminary version of an information system for demonstration or evaluation purposes.
          • -It is a less formal method of development. -Prototyping is a technique for understanding specifications. -A prototype can be removed. -A prototype can become part of the final product.
            • TYPES OF PROTOTYPES
              • 1. Sketching It is the first drawing made with pencil or pen on paper. 2. Low fidelity prototype (Wireframes) They are usually made in grayscale or black and white. With this type of prototype we will see the previous sketches enriched. 3. Medium fidelity prototype (Mockups) This is the visual part of the project and must contain a wide range of details such as colors, typography, content, etc. 4. High fidelity prototype (Mockup) With the mockup we validate if the idea works or not.
    • IMPACT THEORY
      • Thus, social impact will depend on the social forces that will bring about the changes, the immediacy of the event, and the number of sources that produce the impact
        • FACTORS
          • STRENGTH
            • Covers individual factors such as size, intelligence, and wealth.
          • IMMEDIACY
            • Takes into account the recent occurrence of the event and other intervening factors.
          • NUMBER OF SOURCES
            • Refers to the number of sources of influence.
  2. TEAM 1

    • DEVELOPMENT OF CREATIVE PROBLEM-SOLVING IDEAS
      • PREPARATION
        • This phase comprises the period of detection and identification of the problem, as well as the efforts of understanding and training related to it and the search for information through the analysis of the environment.
      • INCUBATION
        • It is the disconnection from the problem, getting away from it for a variable time, can produce the necessary circumstances and stimuli so that we can conceive the idea or solution.
      • ENLIGHTENMENT
        • It is the phase in which the ideas and solutions to our problem begin. This moment has been called by some authors as the Eureka experience.
      • VERIFICATION
        • The idea or creative solution is found in the verification stage, which consists of the analysis and evaluation of the idea to fine-tune it.
    • CREATIVITY TECHNIQUES TO DEVELOP IDEAS
      • Creative techniques respond to the need of work teams to find the best solutions to certain problems. It often happens that, although the members of a team have very good ideas, they do not always know how to develop or apply them.
    • MORPHOLOGICAL TABLES
      • It is based on the conception that any object of our thought is composed or integrated by a certain number of elements and on the consideration that these have their own identity and can be isolated.
  3. TEAM 2

    • OSBORN LIST OF QUESTIONS
      • Osborn questions were defined by Alex Osborn. He is considered the creator of Brainstorming, he brought his team together to generate ideas that managed to save his advertising agency at the beginning of the 20th century.
      • THE LIST OF QUESTIONS IS AS FOLLOWS
        • When? What kind of...? What kind of...? With what? Why? / Because it causes? For what? Which? In which? What? For what? / For which? About what? By means of what? Whose? / With whom? / To who? / For whom?
    • RANDOM WORD METHOD
      • The RANDOM WORDS or RANDOM INPUT technique is a variation of lateral thinking that is very easy to use.
        • TECHNIQUES
          • Write lots of words on cards and put them in a ball or box. We close our eyes and they go out randomly.
          • Open a dictionary or newspaper to a random page and choose a word.
          • Use specific computer programs to obtain random words.
    • DEBUGGING OF IDEAS
      • Idea debugging by systemic approach, It is the process of new product development, In order to detect good ideas and discard the bad ones as soon as possible.
        • It comprises the following five classic stages:
          • 1Problem identification. 2Determine solution alternatives. 3Selecting an alternative. 4Implementation of the selected alternative. 5Determine the efficiency of the implementation and revise when necessary any of the stages of the process.
  4. TEAM 4

    • PROOF OF CONCEPT OR POC
      • Is an implementation, often abbreviated or incomplete, of a method or idea, carried out for the purpose of verifying that the concept or theory in question is capable of being exploited in a useful way.
      • 5 STEPS TO THE IDEAL POC
        • Set goals and requirements.
        • Plan your project.
        • Build a team.
        • Dedicate enough resources.
        • Evaluate results.
    • TECHNICAL VIABILITY
      • Is evaluated before a certain requirement or idea to determine if it is possible to carry it out satisfactorily and in safe conditions with the available technology.
        • Energy implications control mechanisms, depending on the field in question.
          • Profitability.
          • Project.
          • Quality.
          • Time.
          • Costs.
    • COST-BENEFIT
      • The cost/benefit analysis measures the relationship between the cost per unit produced of a good or service and the profit obtained from its sale.
        • Analysis applies not only to business, but also to everyday decisions. For example, when choosing a restaurant for lunch. In this case, variables such as the quality of the food, the price, the distance, among others, will have an influence.
