user interfaces

1. Graphical user interface (GUI)

   • they are desined for easy every day tasks that are usally vissualy intractive
   • advantages
     • easy to use expesually for a begginer
       • there a usually help systems included in the software
         • there are no commands making it easy to use
           • menus, pointers ,windows and icons
   • disadvantages
     • requiers more RAM to use because of the grahpical prossesing
       • the GUI(grapical user interface) uses more disk space
         • advanced users of CLIs may find it faster to continue using a CLI

2. Command line interface (CLI)

   • advantages
     • more efficaicnt that a GUI
       • less CPU prossesing power in used becasue there is less data being transmited
         • if a user knows the correct code then it can be faster that a (GUI)
   • a text based user interface
   • disadvantages
     • complicated and hard to learn because there are hundreds of codes to use
       • if there is a miss input it likly that they will have to re-input the code again
