Bivariate
- Bivariate analysis means analysis of bivariate data. This is a single statistical analysis used to find out the relationship between two sets of values. The results obtained from the bivariate analysis are stored in a data table that has two columns.
- Dispersion diagram
- It is commonly used to show how two variables are related to each other. In this way, it allows studying the relationships that exist between two factors, problems or causes related to quality, or a quality problem and its possible cause.
- Correlation
- produces a number that summarizes the degree of relationship between two variables.
- Simple linear correlation
- Indicates the strength and direction of a linear relationship and proportionality between two variables
- Positive correlation
- occurs when both variables are linearly correlated.
- Negative correlation
- occurs when the two variables are correlated in the opposite direction.
- Regression
- results in a mathematical equation that describes said relationship.
- Simple Linear Regression
- attempts to develop a straight line or linear mathematical equation that describes the relationship between two variables
- Multiple regression
- analyzes the relationship between two or more variables of the equations.
