1. Scope of problem: Users want to document their experience with each novel and see how they liked each genre so when looking at a certain genre they can personally determine if they would enjoy thr novel

2. Success criteria: yes the data will meet the user's need via style and functionality and will be easy to navigate with a easy, clear interface

3. Constraints and limitations: Time to create this diary is 5 weeks so it will limit how complex the algorithm can be. This diary impacts the online social usage as there isn't a way to share reviews.

4. Programming Requirements: Python and visual code studio will be used to create the code. flask will frame the code. Security will be provided with a password for each account.

5. System requirements: Windows is the operating system and the software databases, user ID's, and journal database. Would be accessible online via website

6. Data requirements: User ID database and journal database. Needs structured data with images and text. Needs a lot of data volume and needs secure storage ad needs to alert user of missing values

7. User requirements: A student wants a book diary where she writes personal reviews about novels and rate them on a scale of five so she can determine if she would enjoy similar novels

   • Personal: private diary analysis so data isn't everywhere and is kept secure under the user's account
