1. Cameras focus light onto a 'light sensitive film' or electronic sensors using the lens

   • The lens aperture(like pupil) controls how much light enters
     • The shutter speed determines the time which the film or sensors are exposed to the light for
       • By varying the shutter speed and aperture and sensitivity of the film or sensor photographers can capture exactly how much light they want int he photograph.
