1. What is an Algorithm??

   • Sequence or a process, written in instructions in order to solve a problem. It needs to be logical which means with an order. Used specially in computers.

2. What are the characteristics of an Algorithm?

   • It has to be:
     • Defined
       • It has no uncertainty of meaning or intention in the instruction.
     • Ordered
       • The instructions present a sequence that is logical
     • Precise
       • The results of the established goal are identical every time instructions are used
     • Finite
       • It has an explicit start and ending

3. How do we identify Input, Process and Output?

   • Output
     • The results of the instructions carried out
   • Process
     • Series of steps that can modify both the Output and the Input
   • Input
     • Requirements or materials to carry out the instructions
