Excel Functions

1. IF FORMULAS

   • You can find it in the formula menu in the logical section
   • The formula answers a question and it can only be true or false
   • To type it in a cell you need to type =IF(logical_test...etc...)
     • You need to tell excel what to do if its true

2. Functions

   • To access the functions library go to the formulas menu and you can find them organized in categories.
   • They always start with an = sign
   • The arguments tells the formula what to do
     • A cell range can be in the argument
   • You can always search for a function in the Insert Function section
