Chapter 26: Web authoring.

1. Selecting the software.

   • There are a range of web creations software packages that can be used to create a web page. For a simple website, software such as publisher is ideal although it has limitations.

2. Creating hyperlinks.

   • Once you have created some pages for your website, you can create hyperlinks between the pages.

3. Previewing the website.

   • You can preview your web pages over the web. This is useful because you can check that the hyperlinks are correctly linked to the right pages.

4. Animating text.

   • If you want to include moving text on a web page, first create it as an animation. Then insert the animated text file into the web page using web authoring software.

5. Creating animations for a web page.

   • There are many different programs that you can use to create an animation fro your web page. You should consider these to make sure what is better for your need. What is the purpose of the animation? What are the better features of the program and which are not as good? How easy is it to improve the animation?

6. Creating an animation.

   • You can use Flash Macromedia to create an animation.
