1. Ram

   • Random Access Memory
     • Advantages of a RAM file system: Silent: since there are no moving parts RAM operation is completely silent. Power-efficient: for the same reasons, RAM uses much less power than disk drives

     • Disadvantages of a RAM file system: Volatile: a power outage will cause irrecoverable data loss, unless there is some power backup system like a laptop battery. Space-limited: RAM cost per bit is high, so computers don't include too much of it.

   • Read Only Memory
     • You can upgrade to the newest Android versions which come with security updates, compatibility upgrades and bug fixes. Getting the newest version also in my opinion makes the user experience much more comfortable.

3. Solid State Drive

   • It uses flash memory to store data, which provides better performance and reliability over an HDD. The HDD has moving parts and magnetic platters, meaning the more use they get, the faster they wear down and fail.
   • Low power consumption: An HDD consumes more power because it relies on the rotation of the magnet-coated metal platter for reading and writing data.
