1. Nucleus, Nucleus consists of

   • Protons, Number of Protons = Atomic Number
   • Neutrons and Sum of Neutrons & Protons = Atomic Mass
     • Isotopes: Same Element, Same No. of Protons (atomic number), but different number of neutrons
     • Isobars: Different Elements, Same Atomic Mass but different Atomic Numbers

2. Electrons, Electrons are of two types

   • Stable Core Electrons
   • Outer Shell Electrons
     • Can be Shared: Covalent Bond, mostly among non-metals, carbons is the specialist
     • Can be Gained: Ionic Bond, mostly non-metals
     • Can be Lost: Ionic Bond, mostly Metals
     • None: Noble Gasses
