3. PROCESS

   • SENDER
     • CREATES, DESIGNS, ENCODES A MESSAGE (feedforward)
     • RECEIVER
       • LISTENS TO/RECEIVES.BREAKS UP. INTERPRETS
         • then
           • FEEDBACK (response)
             • becomes the message to be communicated, encoded
               • sent thru channel and is then decoded
       • NOISE
         • NOISE
           • NOISE
         • Anything that interfiers with Comm is noise
       • • message sent travels through CHANNELS
         • Can go both ways
