ALGORITHM
- It is a plan to solve a problem
- informal, mathematical and graphic.
- When you have the algorithm, it's important to translate it into a computer program.
PROBLEM
- It is a decision you need to take in order to solve the situation
SOLUTION
- It is the method and tool you decided to use in order solve the situation.
STEPS
- 1. Obtain a description of the problem.
- The developer must find the way to solve the clients problem. The client must be precise with the description.
- 2. Analyze the problem
- Determine the start (what is the data? and what can I do with it?) and end point (changes? and What's new?).
- 3. Develop a high-level algorithm.
- Break down the solution; make steps. The more detailed, the better.
- 4. Refine the algorithm by adding more detail.
- You have to gradually add more details.
- 5. Review the algorithm.
- Work the algorithm step by step. After it is done, start asking new questions: generalized?, simplified? Is it similar to other?
- 1. Obtain a description of the problem.
