1. CPU

   • The processor fetch, decodes and executes instructions.

   • Core- how many instructions it can carry out at once. Dual core  Quad core 8 core
   • Dual Core
     • Twice as powerful as a single core.
     • Twice as many instructions can be carried out.
   • Quad Core
     • Four times as powerful as single.  
     • Four times as instructions many can be executed at once.
   • Single core
     • Can only carry out on set of instructions at a time.
