1. virtual memory

   • A stimulated form of memory found on the har drive
   • created by the operating system
   • It is used to make more memory that is in the computer
   • creates the virtual memory manager
   • creates the virtual memory manager
     • this then creates file n the hard drive

2. Flash memory

   • Relativly cheap
   • can be easily broken
   • can be used to back up data
   • Examples include USB drives and memory cards

3. RAM

   • can be dram or scam
   • contains data and programs in use
   • Looses its information at power off
   • A volatile form of memory
   • Random access memory

4. ROM

   • Non volatile form of memory
   • known as permanent
   • Read only memoy
