1. relational

     • one or more tables and are related to each other and reduces the amount of data you enter in.

2. flat databases

   • example
     • small business
   • explain
     • only has one table and its easy to implement but a disadvantage is that it is very inefficient because you have to add more and more data.

3. online databases

   • explain
     • A database that can be accessed online, also it is updated.
   • example
     • Tesco
     • Asda
     • eBay

4. network databases

   • explain
     • used by everybody on the network that maybe in different locations.
   • example
     • school
     • libaray
     • big office

5. local databases

   • explain
     • it is one computer therefore only one person can use it.
   • example
     • at home
