1. Multi-user

   • A multi-user operating system allows for multiple users to use the same computer at the same time and different times. See the multi-user definition for a complete definition. 

2. Multitasking

   • An operating system that is capable of allowing multiple software processes to run at the same time.

3. Multiprocessing

   • Multiprocessing is the use of two or more central processing units (CPUs) within a single computer system. The term also refers to the ability of a system to support more than one processor and/or the ability to allocate tasks between them.
