     • it runs the cycle simultaneously and works in the CPU

     • the number of independent processors in the CPU which run the fetch,decode,execute cycle simultaneously

   • how
     • if there is a larger amount of cache memory storage , a greater amount of frequently used instruction
   • what
     • cache memory is a small amount of memory which is either inside theCPU or closer to the CPU then RAM
     • cache memory is more expensive and faster then RAM

3. clock speed

   • how
     • clock speed measured in hertz
   • what
     • the number of the fetch,decode,execute cycles a cpu can perform per second. this is measured in hertz

4. RAM

   • what
     • stores the programs , parts if the operating system and the files currently being uses
   • how
     • its part of the operating system
